Ahhhhh those cool December mornings. I took these pictures a week ago when I thought winter was just beginning. Today we hit a high of 11 degrees Celsius. Sweater weather! For the health of both horses and humans I wish it would get cold and stay cold.
When you look at the picture of my Friesian mare in the field, you will notice the ball of fire in the trees. It was early in the morning and the sun was just starting to peek over the edge.
As it rose, it got bigger and brighter and resembled a very large ball of fire.
